Masahiro Ito, explaining his designs on “Making of Silent Hill 2.”

For those of us who couldn’t jet set to meet Masahiro Ito in Paris this month, Galerie Chappe was kind enough to post some photos.

The Silent Hill Art Exhibition runs from November 29th at 7pm  through December 20, 2012 at the Galerie Chappe, 4 rue André Barsacq, 75018 Paris, France.

The exhibition features original artwork from Masahiro Ito’s concept designs, as well as original pieces created for the show. As a member of the original Team Silent, his distinctive, erotic art style is synonymous with the look of Silent Hill;  he is best known for creating “Red Pyramid Thing,” aka Pyramid Head.

Masahiro Ito continues to create beautifully disturbing pieces for freelance work and his own amusement. You can follow him on Twitter and check out his official blog (it’s mostly in Japanese) to see what he’s up to.
