Silent Hill concertAttention Silent Hill music fans! Did someone say Silent Hill Concert? Why, yes. Yes, I did. Turns out that composer, Daniel Licht will be performing a Halloween concert in Los Angeles this month and you might want to be there. Why, you ask? First of all, don’t question me. I know what’s best for you. Daniel Licht will be performing works from Silent Hill, Dexter, Thinner and Hellraiser. What a show! I’m told it will be Licht with his 11-piece band plus some…special guests.

(wink wink Mary Elizabeth McGlynn has been a previous guest…)

Here’s a look at Daniel Licht’s band performing  music from Dexter:

Daniel Licht, in my opinion, has done a great job with Silent Hill and has been accepted by his predecessors. He’s just twisted and talented enough to breath an equally dark life into our game soundtracks. Check out samples from Silent Hill: Book of Memories in the sidebar and see for yourself! Go check him out live and tell him what you think in person – he welcomes the feedback and I can say from experience that he’s a nice guy…even if he does play instruments made from  human bones…just sayin’.

You can learn more about Licht’s work on his official website and check out my interview with him HERE.

Special thanks to Daniel’s assistant, Norman Kim for the news tip!
