Konami Releases Masahiro Ito’s Art for Japanese Silent Hill: Downpour Cover

Posted on by H.B. Duran

It’s been a tradition in Silent Hill to feature distinct cover art for each region of the world, and Silent Hill Downpour is no exception. Today, Konami officially released the painted cover by Masahiro Ito, without the obstruction of titles:

Masahiro Ito noted that the first 3 game designs (particularly that of Pyramid Head) were always in shades of deep red; so this time, he tried to embody the feeling of Silent Hill Downpour through the color grey. (Per my best translation of the following: ■ 伊藤暢達氏のコメント
