Silent Hill Downpour: Anne’s Story is a comic book mini series that tells the game’s story from the perspective of Corrections Officer, Anne Marie Cunningham.

In this issue, Anne is at the exit of Devil’s Pit when she sees Murphy…and knows what she has to do. But it’s not as simple as she thought!

Pros:

  • Clean, consistent artwork
  • Insightful character development
  • Creative use of color, shading and effects
  • Great companion piece to the game

Cons:

  • Gratuitous use of the F-Bomb
  • Horrific close-up of a monster penis
  • Use of stereotypical nurse will make Silent Hill purists cringe
  • Readers will be lost if they haven’t played Silent Hill: Downpour
